.I would say its.most likely that the fuel that was left in the carb has dried up and gummed up the float so that it stays up and doesnt let any more fuel in…you can take out the spark plug and take a look at it .. i think its a 10mm plug socket which any decent socket set should have…also if the bike still has its original toolroll you will find the included box spanner will do the job quite well..take a look at the spark plug when you have it out…if there is fuel getting in there you will smell it on the plug..if the plug is wet with petrol youve flooded it…(dry the plug off and put it back in), if you have no smell of petrol on the plug, you could try using some easystart to get the engine running…once its running,it will usually sort itself out then and save you having to strip and clean the carb (not a difficult job but lots of fiddly screws) these little hondas are tough but they have their own little peculiarities…next time you lay it up a long length of time switch the fuel tap to off and run the engine until it exhausts all the fuel in the carb.
